Like many people in Singapore (and in the world), I love FOOD!

As I belong to those who are more fortunate, food is less about filling the stomach (well, that too), and more about satisfying the taste buds.  It’s about how fresh produce can combine with skillful cooking to give you a wonderful experience of sight, smell, texture, and taste.

Being able to travel and experience the different cuisines all over the world gives greater insights into one’s culture and habits.  Of course, there are always personal likes and dislikes, but fond travel memories will start floating back while dining on special foreign dishes at home.

WINE, and especially the reds.

I only started learning to appreciate drinking wine and beer about a decade ago.  In recent years, I have learned to appreciate and enjoy wines from all over the world.

I love the variety of characters, intensities, and bodies from the reds.  Although there is so much sophistication involved in the making, tasting, and ‘grading’ of wine, personal appreciation still matters most and not the price!

Whether I am feeling happy or sad, I won’t say no to a good glass of red wine!
